Padi House Restaurant, Putrajaya

Assalamualaikum...hi all!

Since I'm officially married to my job now, eating out (lunch-time) is always like easy-peasy-quick-simple-fatty meal. Yes fatty. You need some fats to get you go round and about no? I would say I neglected my diet a lot nowadays. If not because of my mode of transport to work is the LRT- yeaapp.marching to and fro helps burning those fats again thank goodness :'D - I would have been breeding fats by now!

So to kickstart a u-turn in my diet programme (mind you,the overall objective is towards healthier me,not solely to lose weight :)), I think I have to reward myself with a good time-out with my girlfriend which to help her on her new batch clothing collection photoshoot set in Moroccan Pavillion Putrajaya (This will come in another entry of course ;)) ..and alsooo to try out at The Padi House restaurant in Putrajaya too :)

 *credits to whoever this pictures-belong-to-in-foursquare*

So a bit teasers about this restaurant; a restaurant which I find cotemporary and modern with a classy touch to it...there are around five branches if i'm not mistaken, but I'm only familiar with Putrajaya and Cyberjaya branches. I personally love Putrajaya outlet better since it gives more privacy and space :), compared to the latter which is so much more noisy and crowded and since it is open-air base, there is no seperate zone for smokers :(

So my review will be based on these aspects; setting, menu and service :)

#1 Setting

I love the setting of the restaurant; seperated zones for smokers and non-smokers. So basically the dining sets are clustered into three different theme; Open-air, coffee tables (with sofa dude..sofaa) and the ordinary dining tables. So below here are the sneak-peeks.

#2 Menu

Aaaaaaah..food glorious food :) I like that how the restaurant themed so well with class and modern yet we can have food varieties; from Asian palates (local, vietnamese, thai etc) to western options like steaks, grilled and Mexican food too :) ...and the price is tolerable - not something you would go everyday though, but for weekend treats will be a great pleasure :) for main course, price ranges from RM12 to RM30.

Seriously, if you dare try Secret Recipe before, this one will be about the same price range (maybe cheaper i think) but with mooore varieties on its menu!

From the top left (clockwise) ...Eggplant Pasta with Meat sauce (MYR15.90), Frozen Yogurt Cheese (MYR7.80), Vietnamese Chicken Chop Rice (MYR14.90), Fries (MYR6.90)....and I only had Plain water (MYR2.00) and Honeydew Juice (MYR5.50) for drinks :)

I wish I did snap a close-up for each meal we ordered......but I don't know..just one bite and the food vanished :/ (lol)

Eggplant Pasta with Meat sauce (MYR15.90)
Simple and savory meal. The pasta and egg-plant are tender to taste. Tangy meat-sauce with subtle spiced to it. Love~!

Vietnamese Chicken Chop Rice (MYR14.90)
On the plate; Coleslaw, grilled-chicken, fried egg, two-spring rolls with signature Vietnamese sauce. I so love this Asian platter! :D I especially love the sauce - sweet, tangy, lemony sauce with a light splash of fish-sauce..well it's not Vietnamese if it's not fish sauce :) ..

Frozen Yogurt Cheese (MYR7.80)
Light-weight cheese cake with rich cream icing. Very light with just-right sweetness :)

#3 Service

Not exactly the 5-star service from the staff..but I think they are doing just fine.

I wish they provide more plug points too as I personally gonna love having doing my work whilst having lunch :) ...and did not notice whether they have free wifi access.Hmm..

So I guess that's all for the review. I sure will revisit this restaurant and highly recommend it for a get-together occasions with friends and families :).. If any of you have your own experience in The Padi House do let me know in comments below yaa.

If any of you are interested, here is the contact details for the restaurant:

Galeria PjH, Persiaran Perdana,
Presint 4 (G-Floor), 62100 Putrajaya,

Thank you for your time here. Take care :D

The Nyonya House Restaurant review!

Assalamualaikum, howdy y'all ^^

Wow, how long has it been since I last posted an entry again?? Gosh..my 2015 resolutions really gone wrong once more.grrrrrrrr!! [><]…(posting one blog entry per week?...pffft.yeah right aisyah). When did I lose my passion for writing??....I feel very old :'( *tissue please!*

But here's the deal now, I am definitely seriously going to post an entry every week (..and maybe two weeks per entry.heh) ..........challenge accepted!

                                                           * * * * * * * * * *

Hope in the next post I could come up with a more exciting intros (crossing-fingers not to go all ranting over my frustrations again.haha!)

Ehem. Okay.

So I went on checking the new lifestyle megamall in KK city - Imago (not sure if it is "Mega" enough but I just feel like it sounds more awsome..hehehh.so there; Imago MEGAmall fer youuuh) just next to her sister 'KK Times Square'. Imago was great - It has this chic and lux motives that really embrace modern contemporary lifestyle concept, neat and spacious - I never really have good sense of space. I like it and probably my faved outing spot thus far. Except for its parking lots..not sure why, just don't like it.there.

Running out of juice and the tummy demands for attention and the brain switched to zombie-mode...(literally went zombie-ish brazen for foooooooood)..The LG floor is the food-haven. I don't know how the zombie-me went through all the temptations without biting on people :p ..to make it short, suddenly,.....tadaaaaaa~ "Nyonya House" just caught my attention. This tastebud probably has sudden crave for authentic Asian cuisine. The name says it all - a house of Baba and Nyonya delicacies. I've been looking for chances to have decent Baba Nyonya tastes.. :)

First of, this review will touch on three components; Interior, menu and their service :)
Yuuhuuuu.....welcome in :)

#1- Interior

Intricate and classic details. Feels so much like my Mom's kampung :)

When we arrived there it was already fullhouse - crowded. So the taste must be great I reckoned :)) ..the entrance breathed grande culture-rich Baba Nyonya mansion- quite a welcoming facade....My dad just briskly flipped on the menu at the entrance and.... "Ok.Makan sini" and dashed in.. hehe..

The dining tables are huge, sturdy, heavy and comfy...one that probably came out from antique furnitures store...the table is aokay..just that I find it a bit too large for us four- all tables there are six seaters...or was it eight?

#2 - Menu

Ahhhh....my favourite part..what's a food review without food right?..just like doughnut without its dough (#ehh?)...

We flipped through the menu..and to be honest everything looks oh-so-mouth-watering~~~drools~~!

There were ala carte meals which came in in much more affordable prices (about RM15 - RM20)..but we decided to be more festives by ordering its signature dish: Kari Kepala Ikan Nyonya (Nyonya Fish Head Curry) accompanied by other yummy dishes with fragrant white rice :)

                                                           Kari Kepala Ikan Nyonya

I reckon this is the essence of Nyoya House! Definitely the aroma that flavours the restaurant's air once you stepped in..very aromatic, original and delightfully asian! (if this makes any sense.heh)

Nyonya curry has its unique blend of the East and Southeast Asia.....a twist of tangy, sweet, spicy - very distinctive 'Peranakan' taste! I especially love the final touch of chopped fresh cilantro as garnish :)

 Steam fish....yayyy!:D

Since I officially turned such a health-conscious freako earlier this year (yeah. vain, I know *tsk) I become very fond of diet that consists of fish and veggies (like a lot!)..This meal to me is very hearty *love* ...I love how the dish brilliantly gives out the subtle freshness and natural sweetness of the fish; no fishy smell! and the gravy is simply delicate..like I don't mind having the whole thing for myself and not being guilty about it :)

        Mutton in some special sauce!

As much as I am taking fish diet..I do still have the hots for meat (mutton especially!) ...This dish is just wonderful!..the meat is just tender, not the one that melts in your mouth though- we're not talking about NZ lamb shanks here please..a meaty dish to go with rice is something worth chewing for; so it has to be tenderly cooked, moist, juicy and and not cooked well-done, and flavourful, and I personally love my meat to have a little sweetness too :) ..so this dish is not a let-down..perhaps the special sauce does its trick here? ;) ..savouriness level - TOP NOTCH!

Butter-battered calamari :))

Calamari or squid battered in special crusty coating like when you eat it it goes "kruk krak" ...hehehe. Sweet buttery bread crumbs-like crust shielding the succulent juicy squid inside - yes, juiciness is well retained ;)

 Kangkung Belacan

Oh and finally our veggies - Kangkung Belacan :) Not the healthiest one though...still this goes so well with the other dishes.

#3 - Service

Need to improve the speed though..we ordered our food and waited for more than 30mins for the food to be served. Hmm..but it is understandable since you have to cook upon order (..this is not a fast food restaurant silly me.what am I expecting.lol)

**Some notes to ponder**

1. You may want to be really careful when ordering some dishes especially the one that priced per gram - Tell the waiter to make the portion for each dish only for two persons...or you may ask the smallest portion instead- usually it is half of the fish..still quite ample for 4 people!

2. May be on a pricey side when dining here...hence the above note..or you may want to try out its ala carte menu perhaps? seems like much cheaper to me :)

3. I do not know the kind of fish for the fish dishes I stated earlier..hohoh! So you can always ask them and see which variant sounds best.

4. Remember, the trick is to always ASK FIRST. Please don't be shy about it - or you'll end paying more than what you deserved.

Okay then. I hope you find this review awesomely useful :) ..today marks the 10th day of Ramadhan - still healthy and fit :)) ..Alhamdulillah for this blessing (*this entry actually initiated before the fasting season btw)  I really hope to make more resourceful entries during the blissful month of Ramadhan. Hehe

My my...what an awkward face I'm having there...maybe zombies don't like to take selfie afterall *I'm the one at the most-front :p*

Hope it isn't too late to wish Salam Ramadhan Al mubarak to all my muslim friends. Towards a better self and even a better muslim shall we?. InsyaAllah ^^  byeeee! Assalamualaikum..

Soy Junction Review

Assalamualaikum~..haluuu peeps.

After a sequential on and off from blogging, now I'm back and pretty much alive to present you my reviews on this keeeyuutie new comfort food cafe that was just opened last month ( lf i'm not mistaken) near my neighbourhood : Soy Junction

Yep. The name says it all - Soy glorious soy babyy~ from Soy Pudding, to the classic Tau fu fah...and, ohhhhhh their fluffy signature waffles......nyummmehh!

If you are looking for a place for a quick yet casual friends get-together over drinks....i don't mind recommend this cafe to you...their menu and the ambience can definitely keep your chit-chatting moment going like... "shuuuuuuuuuuuih" (i'm actually micmiking a running tap water sound.similar much?..pfft) ,plus, the price is super aokay

So okay, I bet y'all been waiting for the photos, or rather when i'll finally zip my mouth shut.hahah...below are the photos :)

the caunter

*Personal Reviews*

#1: Menu variety

There's so much more that soy beans can offer. From tau fu fah, to soy pudding, soy milk drink and their soy pudding with rice balls (glutinous rice ball desert) which comes in two types of fillings; sesame and peanut :) ...I really like their waffles - crispy wispy outside and soft on the inside :)

#2: Affordable - Spend RM20 max and you're stuffed with something good

#3: Setting & ambience

Simply cute :) ...would really be my go-to cafe for some knick-knacks over assignments. It's comfortable..though quite small/less spacious - It probably can't cater many dine-ins customers (i think there is only 3 sets of tables) ...minus the space, while imagining i'm the inly dine in customer, i think this place would be great for casual friends get-together :)

#4: Location (Lake fields, Sg.Besi)

Unless you're early, It won't be a hassle for parking. The parking there is horrendous!

So I guess that's all for my reviews. Toodles!

Her beautiful soul perhaps. Jealous are you?

Assalamualaikum,

scene 1:

Satu couple berjalan-jalan di taman...yang lelaki kacak, dan yang perempuan cantik. Lepas tu, orang kiri kanan pun bercakap, "Wow..sangat padan. Merpati dua sejoli..." --->> Situasi normal

scene 2:

Satu couple berjalan-jalan di taman...yang lelaki macam biasa-biasa je(maybe tak berapa handsome la jugak) , yang perempuan nya cun meletop. Orang kiri-kanan pun bercakap; "untung gila seyh mamat tu, muka macam kerak..tapi awek perrgghhhh .." --->> Situasi ni juga dikatakan normal.

scene 3:

Satu couple berjalan-jalan..bersiar-siar..yang lelaki nya sangat la HOT....perghhh. Macho metroseksual tak ingat la babe. Yang awek nya pulak....hmmm. kureng sikit la. Suam-suam kuku ke..or maybe macam ugly betty (=.=) . Dalam erti kata lain tak setanding BF dia. Agak-agak kalau BF dia pakai tudung pun boleh nampak lagi cantik dari awek ni la..ehe :p --->> Tak normal!..BF hot GF pecah??..OMG! Tak boleh dimaafkan!

Hmm..ade jugak aku dengar entah mana-mana Si anon membuat penilaian:

"..Kalau BF tak hensem, tapi GF cun, perkara normal je tu. Tapi kalau BF hensem gila tapi GF nya PECAH mesti orang mengutuk kan? Hahahahaha. Mana padan! Eeee. tolong lah! Tak sesuai ok??.."

Kenapa kita tipikal macam ni?Adoi...susah sangat ke kita nak tengok orang lain untung lebih sikit dari kita? Kira rezki minah tu la dapat TEMAN LELAKI hensem. Kau orang luar suka-suka hati je nak buat mulut macam-macam. Melabelkan si 'awek' tu 'muka pecah' pun satu hal jugak....ape kau tu cantik sangat? (^.^)

isu dengki sebenarnya ni...ehem. :p

Agak nya ape lah kelebihan 'minah muka pecah' ni sampai kan 'mamat hensem' tu pilih dia kan..? (^.^) Credit to that guy..physical beauty is not an issue. He sees MORE than just a pretty face and to-die-for curves. Her soul. Awww....macam sweet la pulak~.. .. :D

beauty lies in the eye of the beholder...

Take care peeps.

Travel Tips for Flight Transit

Assalamualaikum.. ^,^

Home again..finally (thank God) :)

So its holiday..yay~! :D ..flying home to DC..this is my second visit.

My second visit to DC; fly by MAS..then transited at Tokyo, Narita. It was a about 6hours journey to Narita. pheww...CRAMP (=.=) ..Narita is quite a nice place for you to go wandering about ;).. Those Nips i met were all very friendly..lagi la kalau kita try cakap-cakap bahasa dia.. ^,^

..Da name pun transit je kan...memang bersungguh-sungguh aku snap pic yang bole menampakkan aku kat jepun..bole la nak poyo-poyo kan ;DD..cari pokok sakura takde pulak..ahak! tu yang entah ape-ape pic je aku snap..and so far..takde gamba yang aku bole bangga nak upload kat fB and say out loud.. "i'm in Japan baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!" .. (-_-)

Basic tips for those who transit at Tokyo, Narita:

* First and foremost; in case of transiting and changes of flight, be sure to confirm your baggage is directly sent to your final destination.

1. Sesampai je kat Airport Narita, the first thing you need to do is, change your time to local time..this is essential so that you wont get confused..then cepat-cepat kan la diri pergi check-in untuk flight seterus nye. Da ade boarding pass for your next flight baru la sedap sikit nak jejalan kan.. ;) The sooner the better. Kang kalau lambat-lambat..long queue nanti baru tau..haa. But in case if your next flight counter is not yet open then you need to adjust your timing..Set la alarm. Be early. Ape-ape hal pun..kena RAJEN BERTANYE :)

2. If you are bound for Washington DC...prepare your US dollars before take-off (from klia to narita) ..Almaklum la..currency jepun ni besa....(nombor wang dorang ni besa-besa) ..so i think it is more forgiving if you use dollar currency.. *1 USD$= 78 Yen.. (the latest i checked) ..kat mane-mane international airport for sure punye la bole pakai USD$..Kalau setakat transit, tak payah tukar currency negara tu pun takpe.

3. Shopping: Aku takut sikit nak shopping kat jepun hari tu..dengar-dengar barang-barang dorang mahal..da la kat airport. memang super duper di-marked up la harga barangan semua..tapi tak jugak la. Kena pandai pilih kedai..ha. Sila lah singgah di kedai-kedai yang bertulis "Tax Free" ..yang laen tak payah :p

Here you may find food, souvenirs, books and also beauty products at quite affordable price ;)

3. Tido: If tak malu..tido je la kat public tu..(me! me! :D)..cari port yang macam best..then Zz..but if you are worried of your precious hand lugage..or segan ke... :*> ..bole la pegi ke toilet. Toilet kat sane ade disediakan "changing room" ..masuk jeh ;D (ehem.changing room dia bersih and ade carpet tau.hehe)..kalau tak pun..if korang still segan gak dengan cara tu or perlukan lebih privasi..head to "Day Room" ..its about USD15 for the first one hour..and USD12 for the next subsequent hours (hamik kau mahal). This room provides you shower room, bed and also alarm clock! :D

..tadaaa~

Cozy~... :)

4. Da habis shopping..da puas merayau..bla~bla~...sekarang tengok jam. Da check-in da?..if belum pegi la segera. If sudah, double check your boarding pass. Pay attention to your flight details; boarding time, seat number, flight number, gate...etc~kena confirm kan..if let say your seat number is not included (happened :p) , go and settle it ASAP at the mentioned gate counter. Jangan pulak bila da announce calling-for-boarding baru nak terperasan...cuz by that time will be too late already. Mind you, you are not the only one with that problem...there would be many of them with the same problem. So to avoid the frustrating long queue, re-check your boarding pass.. :)

5. Da settle semua...Alhamdulillah..Check dokumen-dokumen penting (passport, boarding pass,,etc) ..Bace doa dan wee~...have a safe flight ;)

..I prefer not to have me to change airlines when transiting. *hassle hassle~ ..there are no direct flight to DC if you fly by MAS (bound for Los Angeles )..the other day, i took MAS, transits at Tokyo then changed to United Airlines to proceed to DC..i personally think my first visit to DC is way more fun :D ..i went by Qatar Airways. Didn't have to change airlines :) ..just a two-hour transit at Doha..then proceed to DC. If you ask me, I would definitely prefer Qatar Airways ;)...movie-movie dalam Qatar Airways lagi beshhhhhh! ;D ewahhh. Besides that, Qatar Airways offers cheaper fare..aihh.cam biased je aku ni :p..hehe..okaii. I'm working on my what-to-do-on-your-holiday list (giler panjang)..Take care!

~happy flying and have a superb holiday ~

Egg whites peel-off mask =)

Assalamualaikum.

The re-wind-ed events throughout the fourth semester:

Mandarin Night Dinner ;)

Strawberry Garden Trip

(diambil daripada mereka yang da awal-awal update.hohoh.nampak sangat pemalas) (^,^)v~

Early signs of white/black heads?..treat them well <----prevention data-blogger-escaped-:="" data-blogger-escaped-i="" data-blogger-escaped-is="" data-blogger-escaped-key="" data-blogger-escaped-know="" data-blogger-escaped-mask.="" data-blogger-escaped-method="" data-blogger-escaped-of="" data-blogger-escaped-one="" data-blogger-escaped-p="" data-blogger-escaped-peel-off="" data-blogger-escaped-really="" data-blogger-escaped-that="" data-blogger-escaped-the="" data-blogger-escaped-works="">

So in this entry, i'm sharing a tutorial on DIY peel-off mask using egg whites :)

Me and roomie (Ajuee! ^,^) had this mini facial on my birthday eve..(my advice, don't do it on your birthday eve) Hehe. She shared this great tutorial with me. And it worked better than any other peel-off strip products ever! :D Thanks for sharing ajue!

You're going to need:

An egg (preferably organic), cotton pad and a small container ;)

 the simple steps:

1. Separate egg whites and the yolk. Pour the whites in a small bowl.
2. Then, prepare thin wide layers of cotton by shredding the cotton pad thinly and finely. The thinner the better.
3. Now you are done with the basic. Next; the face ;) which is the fun part! Apply a thin layer of egg white on your face. Cover thoroughly.
4. While your face is still wet, put on the the thin cotton layer. Damp that cotton layer with egg white and put on the second layer on it and damp it again.. :D
5. Basically you just have to repeat step 4 to your other part of face ;) cover wholly but make sure your face is not too wet with egg whites!
6. Wait to dry completely before you peel ;). i just love that part! the end result, if you see closely, you may see your excess sebum, clogged oil, dirt (black/white heads) on it...eeuwww~~..but its really fun to look at ;)

When you have peeled, it should look something like this. Hehe.
My first egg white mask was on my birthday eve :)

Room-mate aku yang buat kan untuk aku :D ahaa~..that was some really great moment ;) But, seriously, buat mini facial time malam birthday....errr..not a really good idea though..huhu. Sebab bila da ada yang wish birthday, yang call....lagi-lagi bila yang tersayang-sayang wish birthday.....ape jadi lepas tu?..auwwww~~ sampai ke telinga la weh senyum tu :D ..you need to minimize any facial movements when you have this mask on. Huhu. ;p

The night of appreciation was on my birthday. Just for sharing :)

Happy Peeling~.. ;)

All thanks to:

Toodles for now..
Take care peeps! ;)

Nak macam ini! #1 :) - A repost

Assalamualaikum..

This is new..hmm. i've never tried uploading my drawing in the web before..hope it turns out alright. (thanks for the very not-so-pro-photo-editting skill of mine! ;(..)

Okay, whatever. So i have passion for drawing :*> ...yayyy~ But this is the first time me drawing "muslimah" character..(with hijab on. sebelum-sebelum ni aku sangat suka lukis character yang sangat SExy Mexy GiLorz!!! >.<)..insap daa. maybe sebab da tua kan :p uhukkk!

This column is where i put my ideas into drawings (through some 'inspired by' styles and verily, my own imaginations; what i like,CLEO..bla~bla~bla~! :D)....so when i think its cool....ahahh!!! i'll dash to the mall!. Getting the 'look'!

and there goes the....'NOTHING can stop me!!!' mode..wink~* ;)

oh semak. macam aku sorang je yang paham drawing ni..

tadaaaa~.....how similar is it?..i don't know. but i'm loving it! :)
Ouh, thank you for killing your time on this entry! >.<
Take Care peeps.

..five minutes and a latte :)

Assalamualaikum ^,^

..Distance makes the heart grow fonder,,
Tu dia kata Achilles.

Technology made communication simple. Keeping in touch with friends and family is at your finger tips they say..

But at the end of the day, believe me, even technology could not withstand the traditional meet-up at a cosy coffee house or some nice restaurants for a REAL good-long-chats with your loved ones..

If you think you’ve done your part by just keeping in touch through FB, email or skype...try to put an effort for a good physical hang out. You can tell the difference yourself ..^,^

Here i have some ideas for a great hang out spot/activity.. (for both family and friends) :

1. For something cool and sporty:

i. ice-skating

ii. Ski

Liberty Hills - Pennsylvania

iii. Beach fun!

Tanjung Aru beach

2. The extreme~~

i. White water rafting (ok. i'll pass!)

Padas White water rafting.

ii. Mount climbing

Mount Kinabalu :)

iii. Hiking (canopy walk)

Apart from appreciating what nature gives you, just whatever extreme activity you had, you’ll remember forever and will always have something to talk about it in the future.. (since of course there will be less chatting when rowing your raft right? ) :)

4. The Mall :3

Sounds ordinary. But for your special day out, make it super extraordinary ;) ..i mean, come on...you have the cinema, all the good stores, food....and you have the good whole day for talks and gossip~ :D ..just make sure you plan it right. So that you don't waste your time on the unnecessaries.

5. Nice time at coffee shop :)

I really love this one! ^,^..find the right cafe- well it doesn't have to be Starbucks! or Dome! or whatever sounds 'classy' ..just bump to any cafe with nice ambiance, good music, pleasant atmosphere....and nice food ;) Hoho. so you'll have that 'good-mood' tune for a nice long chat with a nice cup of latte :) ..waaah~ I just love it that way. The more relax style :)

Macam sangat stylo je begini kan :) eiceh.

..You can spend money on bills for phone calls..but that will never replace the time spent for the 'togetherness'.. :)
..take a five minutes and enjoy your latte!

Thank You so much for reading. And take care :)

..Duren duren - A repost

...tu dia raja buah marrriiiiiiiiiiiiii!
Assalamualaikum..dan salam Ramadhan :)

Family just came back from DC..(Ouh. Alhamdulillah. I like!

Da lame tak balek Malaysia kan?...haaa, moh kite buli bibik Ireland ni..

Mane ade buli....actually she’s been a great help :) ...

...so last midterm break. (2 weeks ago)..I’m living with boxes100x. No kidding. Maka, dengan ini bibik dari sabah ni pun turut turun padang berhempas pulas mengerjakan proses pindah masuk rumah baru ni...but i’m loving it. I’ve been like this since forever ;) ..tu la keajaiban dan keindahan yang ramai orang tak tau pasal ‘selalu pindah-pindah’ ni...Haha.

Bercakap pasal cuti..aku nak cerita serba sedikit pasal pesta Durian time cuti hari tu (pesta la sangat kan kalau kat rumah)...Bila musim durian ni memang syiok. Satu bakul durian tu RM50 je bebbbb. Fuhhhh. Memang banyak durian la kitorang bantai kan :D

..Info menarik pasal durian:

Aih. Tetiba malas pulak nak cerita, korang google la sendiri..Taip macam ni --->> D U R I A N.

Tapi ade satu info ni yang aku rase macam harus dikongsikan dengan kamu semua. Actually this is a common and basic info. Tapi maybe tak ramai yang aware agak nye. Ni tips supaya bila kau beli durian (dalam kes, si penjual tak kopek lagi durian la. Kalau da kopek kau mintak kat tauke kau nak rase seulas, dua ulas, atau sebiji durian terus)

Makan durian ramai-ramai memang best. Lagi-lagi lepas habis makan masing-masing lawan sendawa+kentut.. Haaa (t_t)

Tips to buy GOOD durians; The infamous 5 ‘S’.. :

1. Stalk – in good condition. Not frail, or broken, etc

2. Spike- Nice spikes. Sharp..

3.  Smell- rrrrreally strong and wonderful aroma. Waweeee~~~

 4. Shake – lift up the durian to the side of your ears. Shake the durian gently. You’ll hear a little shakes inside. This indicates that the Durian is ripe enough to be eaten.

5. Shape – A nice shape. Big, round,, basically the durian is in a good condition ;)

(source: Ayah :p)

Khasiat durian?.. Hmm. No idea. And again, korang google lagi sekali k. Tapi taip macam ni -->> D U R I A N + K H A S I A T..

..tapi banyak jeh orang tua-tua kongsi petua pasal durian ni. Misal nye, kalau badan terasa panas sebab melantak banyak sangat durian; tuang air minuman ke dalam kulit durian yang kosong. Pastu minum dari situ. Dimulakan denagn selawat. Insya’allah..lagi satu, tangan kau bau lepas kau melantak durian lepas tu segan takut orang tercium bau tersebut, kau basuh tangan dalam air tadahan kulit durian.. Insya’Allah bau tu hilang. Atau berkurang bau yang kuat tu.

Lawar Durian ^^

Cubalah resepi ni sebagai menu berbuka puasa;

Bahan-bahan:

1.       1. Empat atau lima ulas durian (isi nya tebal)
2.       2. Bawang merah – 3 biji
3.       3. Cilipadi – 4 biji
4.       4. Santan kelapa
5.       5. Secawan air suam
6.       6. Garam secukup rasa

Cara-cara:

1.        1-Hiris cilipadi dan bawang kecil halus-halus
2.      2 -Taburkan hirisan tadi kedalam mangkuk yang berisi durian
3.      3 -Bancuh santan bersama air suam, kemudian tambah kan garam secukup rasa. Kacau hingga sebati
4.      4 -Tuangkan santan yang da dibancuh tadi kedalam mangkuk yang berisi hirisan 5-bawang+cilipadi+durian...

*kuah santan jangan sampai tenggelamkan durian.

Lawar Durian is the traditional dish from Negeri Sembilan (my mum’s hometown. Hoho ;D )..its simple yet appetizing. You eat it with rice, together with ulam-ulam, ikan masin...Fuhhhhhhhh! the creamy gravy, and the rich texture, plus a kick of hotness from cili padi. This simple aromatic delicacy is simply irresistible! You try it first ok :D ...

Selamat Mencuba. And selamat berbuka puasa! ;)
