Colmar Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
Assalamualaikum yoo..!

Before i'll start reviewing on my last family holiday at Berjaya Hills..here, i would like to wish every muslimin and muslimah Happy Fasting for this Ramadhan :) ..insya'Allah. Marhabah ya Ramadhan! Syukur Alhamdulillah for letting me staying healthy and fit to meet with you again :)

Colmar Tropicale:

So last saturday we went on just a brief vacation (went saturday and came back on sunday...tch*).. to Colmar Tropicale Berrjaya Hills at Bukit Tinggi..yeahh, very short but never failed to amaze me how awesome the trip was :D ..this place is absolutely perfect for family gathering, hanging out with friends...and..........ohhh not to mention a lovely honeymooners' spot too ;D ..esta perfecto'! ..

Just imagine...classic and romantic french-themed resort that beautifully embraces the medieval influence..and to forget a serene and mysterious wonders of a Japanese's Village tucked somewhere in the valley..whoahh...what a fusion!

To go there, it takes about an hour or so of driving from KL. Through Karak highway and heads toward Genting Highland. Exit for Bukit Tinggi is right after Janda Baik. You'll need to pay entrance fee for RM12 per head.

In my opinion, a one day tour in Colmar Tropicale is enough to wander off to its prominent places. But, if you prefer to spend some nights there;

The hotel room rate is roughly around RM400/Night initially for family room...but for Government servants....alert! the price charged will be discounted up to 20%..just make sure you inform them upon checking-in (..of course different rooms have different rate. You may want to refer to its website for this). For overnight-ers..you may get Berjaya Hills entrance ticket refund worth RM12.

Eateries:
I'd sayyy....food glorious food babyy! ..lots of cafe's and restaurants that not only serve meals to fuel up your day..but also a lighter selection of scrumptious snacks to go with a warm cup of cafe au lait during break-time. Simply gorgeous!..But!!!! mark my words, they tend to be on the pricey side! >.< ...oh well, you can always opt for picnic though :)

Western food are 'staple' there..but for those with a hardcore-traditional palates, worry not!....there's also a restaurant that serve oriental alternatives to suit your taste buds ;).. (living proof?...errrr..my dad. and he survived!) ..

*Note*
- The Berjaya Hills' dining hall provides buffet: Breakfast, Luch, Dinner.
- Lunch: RM40++ per head
- Dinner: RM50++ per head
- Quite a reasonable price for great food variety that gets you hyped up to go 'food-hunting' for another extra rounds!

More Attractions.

Japanese Tea Ceremony:
Entrance fee for RM28 to enter the Japanese Village. If you're staying overnight, one room is inclusive of two complimentary tickets for entering Botanical Garden and Japanese Village :) ...(so here you'll save RM46!)..Beautiful view...at least it gives you a glimpse of how being in Japan is like ;p .Kimono rental is also available for RM20..you may choose your own kimono, then...go modelling with it till you drop! ..great spot for photography..whether in Kimono or not, your shots will definitely rock! ;) ..(Indoor photography in kimono has no time limit...but once you set foot outside, you'll be restricted to a 10minutes session only..) When time's up, the Okami-san will call you ;)..

 About 500m of hiking..so gear up fellas!
